What We Fund
As the official nonprofit partner of Cabrillo National Monument, Cabrillo National Monument Foundation (CNMF) has worked alongside the National Park Service since 1956 to help protect the park’s natural and cultural resources, expand opportunities for education and exploration, and enhance the experiences of those who visit and learn from San Diego’s national park.

PROTECT + PRESERVE
We support programs and projects that restore habitats, preserve history, and safeguard cultural treasures at Cabrillo National Monument. From the rocky intertidal zone, to the Old Point Loma Lighthouse, our investments address the day-to-day care required at Cabrillo National Monument, as well as the long-term work needed to preserve these resources for future generations.
EDUCATE + INFORM
Cabrillo National Monument is a living classroom where history, science, nature, and culture come together. With donor support, we fund field trips, internships, hands-on science, public programs, and interpretive resources that can inspire a lifelong connection to Cabrillo National Monument.
ENHANCE + ENGAGE
We fund programs and activities that enhance the visitor experience. Through accessibility projects, seasonal events, trails, and more, we strive to enrich the quality of park experiences enjoyed by visitors, and facilitate a deeper connection with the park's natural and cultural heritage.
