Plants and pollinators need each other. But exactly how do our native plants benefit our pollinators, and how do our pollinators help our native plants? Find out the answers to these questions and more as we discover the fantastic ways Cabrillo National Monument’s native plants interact with their pollinators!
Dr. Wilnelia Recart González is a plant ecologist interested in how plants reproduce. She is currently an NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of San Diego, where she teaches and mentors undergraduate students. Her research seeks to understand how organisms, such as non-native species, pollinators, and herbivores, affect the reproduction of native plants.
